Outdoor Classroom Informational Kiosks
Informational kiosks can be installed next to an outdoor learning station or anywhere in the outdoor classroom and can be updated with information related to the learning station or outdoor classroom at any time. These kiosks can be filled with information about what's "growing" on in the OC, recent wildlife sightings in the OC, or any number of other things!

Materials Budget
These materials lists and budgets for kiosks include the following:

You may also consider planting a small raised bed garden around your kiosk. Select low-growing plants (like mint or heuchera) that will not grow tall enough to obstruct your view of and access to the kiosk.

These construction instructions include a list of tools & supplies needed for your work day as well as step-by-step construction instructions.

Maintenance Tips
You may need to re-stain your kiosk every few years to keep the wood protected.
Signage
You may fill your kiosk with a variety of educational information, maintenance checklists, or info about what is going on (or "growing on") in the outdoor classroom. You may also choose to include your OC Rules sign in your large kiosk.
