What is the Landowner Network?
Consisting of two parts, the Landowner Network is first an interconnected group of private landowners interacting and working with AWF for the mutual assistance and benefit on conservation and wildlife management issues in Alabama. Second, the Landowner Network consists of interactive tools intended to regularly engage private landowners and help initiate consistent communication between AWF and landowners.

How does the Landowner Network function?
The Landowner Network uses a combination of social media and smart-phone applications to engage landowners, like yourself, in data gathering and assessment activities on private lands. The tools will provide efficient and effective information transfer pathways to be used to achieve habitat-based initiatives across Alabama’s diverse landscape. The tools and resulting data will help landowners easily discover, promote, and disseminate information concerning conservation and wildlife management issues in Alabama.

Why do we need a Landowner Network?
  • To meet landowner demand for accurate and applicable natural resource and wildlife management information.
  • To engage landowners in a more consistent and interactive fashion.
  • To develop long-standing and continuous relationships with private landowners.
  • To collect and distribute data/information regarding wildlife habitat, wildlife populations, and natural resources.
  • To ensure sound decisions are made in the management of Alabama’s natural and wildlife resources.
How do I join the Landowner Network?
