Nature on Wheels


The Alabama Nature Center strives to educate our community about the wonders of Alabama’s outdoors including our rich natural history and biodiversity through our conservation education programs. Let NATURE ON WHEELS visit your school or other location, be a part of your in-school field trip, come to your party, or set up an interactive display at your event.
 

Small groups

  • Maximum of 25 people
  • 1 hour program $175 plus $0.70/ mile traveled; additional hour $125
     - Surcharges will apply if over 100 miles from ANC 
  • Programs:
- Mammals of Alabama Skins and Skulls Presentation
- Reptiles & Amphibians of Alabama-includes animal ambassador encounter
- Pollinator Presentation
- Longleaf Pine Ecosystem Presentation-includes animal ambassador encounter
- Birds of Alabama
- Face Your Fears-includes animal ambassador encounter
- Archery (ages 10 and above)
- Raptors of Alabama with Owl Pellet Dissection (additional supply charge)
- Teambuilding (additional charge per participant)
- Customized program just for your group on topic of your choice (charges may differ if additional staff required)

Medium groups
  • Over 26-99 people
  • 1 hour program $275 plus $0.70/ mile traveled; additional hour $225
    - Surcharges will apply if over 100 miles from ANC
  • Programs:

  • 100+ people

  • Interactive visual display of Alabama’s wildlife including animal ambassadors, skins, skulls, shells, and feathers
  • $100 per hour plus $0.70/ mile traveled; $200 minimum
    - Surcharges will apply if over 100 miles from ANC
