This past Thursday, proved to be nothing short of EPIC for the AWF Tri-County Wild Game Cook-Off; setting both sponsorship and single-event attendance records. With 40 cook teams and well over 1600 members and guests in attendance, Palomar Insurance Corporation captured the top prize of "Best Overall," with their scrumptious Italian Venison Bombs. Palomar Insurance Corporation including Thomas Adair, David Logan, Robert Adair and Len Skipper will be invited to the State Finals held at Lanark in Millbrook on August 5, 2017 to compete for the title of AWF 2017 Wild Game Cook-Off State Champion.
An aroma of delicious dishes filled the air as cook teams fired up their grills at the AWF Headquarters in Millbrook on Thursday, April 27th, preparing various mouthwatering fish, fowl and game dishes. Incredible dishes like Panko/Popcorn Crusted Lionfish w/ Corn & Pepper Medley, Country Fried Teal and BBQ Elk Hash Over Gouda Grits were just a few of the tasty dishes served at the Cook-Off.
