AWF Incentives for Migratory Bird Habitat

In support of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Migratory Bird Habitat Initiative, Alabama Wildlife Federation has been awarded a $368,500 “Recovered Oil Funds for Wildlife” grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to provide one-time Practice Incentive Payments to private landowners in Baldwin and Mobile County, Alabama that have acres accepted into the NRCS Migratory Bird Habitat Initiative and successfully complete practice installation as outlined and documented by NRCS.
Landowners in Mobile and Baldwin Counties interested in learning more about the NRCS Migratory Bird Habitat Initiative and the associated AWF Incentive Program should contact the NRCS/Soil and Water Conservation District Offices in Baldwin (251-937-3297) or Mobile (251-441-6505) Counties.
Sign-up for the program is set to run through August 2nd.
