This 600 page hardback sets forth in plain language practices which the private landowner or land manager can implement to improve the status of wildlife and wildlife habitat on his land.

Almost every subject is addressed in the book - managing game and non-game wildlife, attracting backyard wildlife, fish pond management, conservation ethics, endangered species, and supplemental planting as wildlife food sources.

Filled with color photos and illustrations, Managing Wildlife is an excellent coffee table book as well.

"Attractive enough to grace a coffee table and utilitarian enough to take to the field..."
-Excerpt from "Preface and Acknowledgments" by Rhett Johnson
